My start in disability law began in the Marine Corps helping wounded warriors who were being medically separated or medically retired. I realized a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment and knew I wanted to focus exclusively in this area of law. I have had the honor to serve thousands of clients and have prevailed at hundreds of hearings before SSA and the VA.
Our team has a careful process for tracking our lessons-learned and this allows us to fine-tune every part of our process. Also, we love what we do and we’re pretty nerdy about it. We celebrate even the smallest detail can add to the strength of a case.
I have been a licensed attorney since 1997 and a Marine Corps officer since 1996. I served seven years active duty and when I returned from Iraq in 2003, I entered the reserves. I spent much of my early years as a lawyer in the creditor industry representing banks and collection companies. While I enjoyed my work, the moment I began to work in disability law, I realized it would be my focus.
Ashe Law takes a team approach to every case. As a team of dedicated professionals, we talk about every case, look at every aspect and combine firepower for the client.
Compassion must always be among our core principles as a society and as a law practice. Our nation has wisely invested in a system that can provide modest benefits for those who struggle with disabilities. Our job is to win your case but also, to ensure you are informed and secure about your case and why things are happening at any stage of your case. While compassion is at the core of our principles, communication is the core of our practice. We are here for you and for your questions.
